About WildRoot

An independent Rust-first blockchain built around a live DAG and PoW checkpoint security.

WildRoot's native coin and proof-of-work algorithm are both named WildRoot. The project combines immediate transaction-DAG execution, checkpoint finality, native post-quantum signatures and EVM-compatible tooling.

Design goals

Keep protocol roles understandable.

Transactions should not need to wait for mining before their valid live state can be used. PoW should still provide a simple, independently verifiable checkpoint history for rewards, protocol height and finality. EVM tooling should integrate without redefining the underlying chain as an Ethereum clone.

The result is a protocol where DAG execution, application-frontier verification, PoW checkpoints and external interfaces have explicit boundaries.

Project

Independent

WildRoot is its own blockchain design and software stack rather than a compatibility fork whose consensus is inherited from another running chain.

Implementation

Rust-first

The node, CLI, desktop application, wallet, EVM boundary, miner and readiness harness are organized in a Rust workspace with native PoW/GPU components.

Status

Pre-production

1.0.0-dev is a development/testing build. Old development storage, wire formats and internal APIs are not compatibility targets before the first production release freeze.
